The Children's Hospital Bond Act of 2008, Proposition 3, on the ballot November 4, would authorize the State of California to sell $980 million in bonds for capital-improvement projects at the state's children's hospitals, including $39 million for Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA and for each of the other University of California children's hospitals.
