Medical Plaza Parking System Upgrade

Effective Tuesday, January 20, the UCLA Medical Plaza parking facilities will convert from the current pay-on-entry system to the new SKIDATA pay-on-exit system. Daily permits purchased through this system will be valid for one entry only, having no "in and out" privileges.

The new system will allow quicker entry and exits. Customers pull a ticket, park, go to their appointments and pay on exit at one of the conveniently located pay stations. Validations will be required to provide complimentary or reduced-rate parking. Employees with direct customer contact are encouraged to attend one of the four Open House Demonstration sessions on January 15, 2009, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Sessions will start at 11:00, 11:30, Noon and 12:30 with an overview of the system followed by a site walk and equipment demonstration.
