New Children’s Orthopaedic Clinic in Santa Monica
Westside children now have better access to orthopaedic care with the opening of the Renee and Meyer Luskin Children’s Clinic across the street from Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center and Orthopaedic Hospital (SMUCLA).
The outpatient facility provides treatment for a wide range of orthopaedic conditions, including scoliosis and spinal deformities, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, clubfoot, bone dysplasias, fractures, hemophilia and musculoskeletal tumors. It will operate under the direction of Anthony Scaduto, M.D., as a partnership between SMUCLA and Orthopaedic Hospital’s downtown clinic.
The Luskins provided seed funding for the clinic, which will relocate into SMUCLA when the rebuilding project is completed next year. Mr. Luskin is chair of the hospital’s Board of Advisors.
