UCLA MAKES LIST OF TOP HOSPITALS

Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center has been selected as one of the country’s leading hospitals, and one of the most highly recommended in a number of medical specialties, in a major survey of physicians across the nation. The results of the survey, conducted by the non-profit research organization Consumers’ Checkbook, appears in the May–June issue of AARP The Magazine.

“This is a wonderful tribute to our entire healthcare team,” says David Feinberg, M.D., chief executive officer and associate vice chancellor of the UCLA Hospital System, “Our physicians and staff go the extra mile every day to save lives and deliver compassionate care to patients in our community and from around the world.”

Consumers’ Checkbook surveyed doctors across the United States, asking if they would recommend that patients seek care at hospitals in other communities for certain extremely difficult cases, and if so, which hospitals they would recommend.
