Employee Opinion Survey Feedback
Reveals Central Theme

Feedback from over 5,000 UCLA Hospital System employees who participated in the recent 2006 Employee Opinion Survey has been analyzed. The results revealed several compelling issues that affect most departments and units. In response, senior leadership along with department and work unit leaders that comprise the Management Forum, are shaping action plans to address these issues. Main themes include:

  • Improve communication channels for employees to share concerns to management and for management to share important developments and issues to staff.
  • Support staff to effectively accomplish their duties without roadblocks.
  • Involve everyone in developing a collective culture of excellence.
  • Enhance rewards and recognition
  • Enable work and life balance

Look for EOS plan implementation and progress as they develop in future issues of Employee News, messages from leadership including Town Halls and other sources.
