Nutrition Director Takes the Cake

Congratulations to Patti Oliver, UCLA director of nutrition, recipient of the American Society for Healthcare Food Service Administrators (ASHFSA) "Don Marsh Operator of the Year Award." Patti received the prestigious award at the society's annual conference held Sarasota, Florida, last month in recognition of UCLA Health System's overall healthcare food service excellence. She was named "Industry Trendsetter" in June 2006 by ASHFSA, and currently serves as a Member at Large for an American Dietetic Association's Dietetic Practice Group.

"We are so excited to present this award to Patti," said Phyllis Filgate, 2007 ASHFSA President. "She clearly demonstrates all that we are looking for in our Operator of the Year."
